Many people are wondering about debt elimination processes, are they ethical? In particular, credit card debt elimination?!
People are deceived by many advertisers who claim to promise 100% credit card debt elimination or something similar to that. Those advertisers are professional as they sell air promises to hundreds of people. Until now, many people are falling victims because of their frauds.
Well, from now on, we must avoid listening to those credit card debt elimination claims. If you listen and follow one of them, once they take your money, you will be alone facing many problems and the most serious one is paying off your debt with no money.
In order to avoid any claim, you should know the following:
- Credit card debt elimination programs can’t get you rid of your debt entirely. So if anyone tells you that they can eliminate all your debts, then that person is offering nothing for you.
- They come to an agreement with your creditors that you can both live with so everyone gets what they want.
- They allow you to pay what you can afford through this agreement.
- Any company that promises to eliminate all of your credit card debt using elimination services is not operating under ethical guidelines.
- They are depending on lying as they claim that there is a magic key to solve your financial problems without paying any of your debt. That’s completely wrong according to the law.
- No ethical company would make you a debt elimination plan that aims to get you out of your entire debt. All they can do for you is paying your monthly payment in a timely manner.
- Also, they don’t give you any solution to increase your credit score. If your credit history was negative, you would do many things in order to prove the opposite. It will take a long time to solve your negative credit rating.
The best way to avoid any frauds is to negotiate with your creditors in person and try to make an agreement that suits you both. It’s important to know what you are going to getting into.
Be honest with yourself; you MUST pay what you borrow. Never use any trick or scam to pay your credit card debt.
