Are You Sinking In An Ocean Of Debt?!!

by admin on November 14, 2008

Let’s start our article today with the first statement of Obama, the new president of US. “I’m asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington … I’m asking you to believe in yours”.

This speech is fantastic, but the question now: “Will Obama protect his people from falling into more debts? Will he bring us some real changes on how to stop debts in US? Will there be any changes help US people to solve all their debt problems? Will his plan include helping those poor debtors?”

Most Americans are sinking now in an ocean of debt. We should admit that we already went too deeply into debt and we need some changes helping us to get out of that massive ocean of debt which threatens to swamp America.

Some people blame the authority on falling into this deep debt. Most Americans think country is on wrong track. That is, the majority of Americans are saddled with debt.

Let’s ask another question: “Why are most Americans in such bad shape financially? What are the real causes of this financial disaster that could threaten the entire nation?”

1- Most Americans like to have big TVs, big cars, big houses and so forth. The best solution here is to remember the old saying “If you can’t afford it don’t buy it.”

2- Use a lot of credit cards at once and to buy things not important or necessary in life. The best solution here is to cut up all your credit cards, use cash, and keep only one or two credit cards in a safe place in case of emergencies.

3- Spending more than what you earn. You can be quite comfortable with your job income but not live your life the correct way. The best advice is whenever you go shopping; buy the items that are on sale. Live within or under your means, if you can. On the other words, live simple and always be aware of how much you spent and where so keep recording. This keeps us on track–keeping a careful budget will save us a lot of money over the years.

Saving is a lost thing nowadays. We should return to our habits of saving money along the way. The secret is to live simply and within our means. It’s okay to use credit cards, but it’s not if you don’t pay your cards on time.

Obama’s speech is completely correct. The secret of getting out of debt is inside us. We should believe in ours. We have no one to blame but ourselves.
