A New Trend, A New Think

We discussed before how to manage money, how to get rid of debt, and what’s after being debt free. But there is something else we didn’t mention before and we should focus on it now.

Let’s remember what Jesus told us in the Bible in order to help others. That new trend will help us to keep ourselves away from debt. Believe me, just try and see what Jesus can do for us.

If you are Christian, then you will know what the meaning of “Tithe” is. If you aren’t, then Tithe is 10% donation to the church. This percentage is collecting only from your money earned, not from your saving box.

How does this small percentage help our financial lives? There are very good reasons for doing that, here they are:

- God is the source of our money. God gives us what we deserve and He also gives us more money in order to help others. So think if you didn’t use that extra money to help others, will Jesus help you?!

- Tithe may be not a big problem for your life, but at the same time it’s very important and necessary for others. By giving it to them, they will be able to survive.

- This trend will also prevent the money from controlling you. That means you will control your money and manage it according to the way you want. Remember, money is the root of all evil!

- It also sends us the message that no one cares of it. Before buying a new toy, dress, or shoes, we should think carefully where our money is going and what our priorities are.

- After helping others, Jesus will put new thoughts in your mind helping you to control your financial situation.

All you have to do now is to treat this percentage given as a regular monthly bill. Add it to your budget now and it won’t affect any of your debt payments. After feeling its benefits, you will get used to add it to your budget before adding anything else.

Once you start giving your tithe, you will feel the difference in your life, in your business, and in your future. It’s enough to feel that you are satisfied while helping others.
